About PsychMed.org
PsychMed.org is an educational psychiatric medication reference built to help clinicians, trainees, patients, and families quickly compare medications used in serious mental illness (SMI). It is not medical advice.
What you’ll find here
- Drug profiles with dosing ranges, monitoring reminders, interactions, and label links.
- A compare tool for side-by-side medication planning.
- An evidence library of curated guidelines, trials, and reviews.
- A glossary for the terms used across profiles.
- A support resources hub for crisis and practical help.
- A practical SMI toolkit with checklists and shortcuts for common medication workflows.
Where the data comes from
Medication pages cite primary sources such as DailyMed/FDA prescribing information and major guidelines. Each profile lists references and a “last reviewed” date so you can see when it was most recently checked.
For details on scope, sources, and quality controls, see methodology.
Update cadence
PsychMed is updated iteratively. When we revise a medication, we regenerate the site’s structured data and revalidate cached pages so changes publish quickly. Always verify details against the official label and local guidelines.
