Mechanism (brief)

Serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibition; weak dopamine reuptake at high doses.

Metabolism & Half‑life

• Metabolism: Extensive hepatic metabolism via CYP1A2 and CYP2D6.
• Half‑life: ~12 h; steady state in ~3 days.
