Mechanism (brief)
Selective MAO-B inhibition at low doses; nonselective at ≥10 mg/day.
Metabolism & Half‑life
- Metabolism: Hepatically via CYP2B6/CYP2C19/CYP3A4 to amphetamine-like metabolites.
- Half‑life: ~10 h (pharmacodynamic effect longer).
